Research Activities

 

My research is focused on product and process development of plasmid biopharmaceuticals. One of the projects deals with the development of DNA vaccine prototypes against African trypanosomiasis (sleeping sickness). I am also working on the design of plasmids to improve resistance to nucleases and physical-chemical stresses which are typically encountered during production and purification, as well after administration in vivo.
