Research Activities
My research is mostly focused on the rational design of steroid bioconversion processes using whole cells of Mycobacterium sp., anchored in small-scale reactors (viz. multiwell plates and microreactors). Within the scope of the research activities of BERG, I have also been involved in the development of methodologies for the production of hydrogel-based biocatalysts.
