Research Activities
My research activities are recently focused on the development of new bioprocesses and their applications in biocatalysis and analytical tools for environmental and bioprocess monitoring that demand new biocompatible materials. It is expected that the output of these projects can bring a significant and innovative contribution to the development of a new generation of biomaterials with large applicability in different bioengineering fields and which have not been possible to achieve with actual materials available in the market.
